Catching Up With Russ

There are many reasons why campers return to Victory Junction each year.

Whether it’s to see old counselors and staff, reconnect with friends or show us how much they have grown since their last visit—campers know that Victory Junction is where they can come to be themselves.

Russ, of Charleston, NC, has been coming to camp for five years. When he comes to Victory Junction, he looks forward to visiting his favorite program areas: the barn, the waterpark and the zipline—the activity he enjoys the most.

However, our awesome program areas aren’t the only explanation as to why Russ comes back each summer.

We do all we can to provide campers with experiences that will change their lives and empower them to be the best they can be. When campers come back each year, we get to see how much growth they have made. It is also astounding to hear how much Victory Junction means to them.
