Victory Junction Summer Numbers Soar – But Help is Still Needed

RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Jun. 16, 2025) – Victory Junction is proud to celebrate a season of remarkable growth, with more campers and volunteers expected this summer than in recent years. Running from June through August, the camp offers diagnosis-specific sessions that provide medically safe, empowering, and joy-filled experiences – all at no cost to children living with complex medical and physical needs.
With camper participation up 18% and volunteer support up 8% compared to 2024, Victory Junction is on track for a life-changing summer, welcoming nearly 800 campers and close to 260 volunteers. But to finish strong, the camp is actively seeking additional volunteers – especially male volunteers – to support sessions taking place between July 13 and August 14.
The Camp’s medical team is also in need of additional pharmacy volunteers to serve on June 22 and 29, and all weeks in July. Camper spots are still available for Heart/Lung/Kidney week (July 13–17) and Rheumatology/Immunology week (July 20–24), and families are encouraged to apply.
Breakdown of Victory Junction’s remaining summer sessions:
| Session 3 | June 22–26 | Sickle Cell / Oncology |
| Session 4 | June 29–July 2 | Neuro / Genetics |
| Session 5 | July 6–10 | Physical Disabilities / Craniofacial / Spina Bifida |
| Session 6 | July 13–17 | Heart / Lung / Kidney |
| Session 7 | July 20–24 | Rheumatology / Immunology |
