RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Jun. 30, 2025)Victory Junction has received a $50,000 grant from the Honda USA Foundation to purchase and install automatic door systems at the entrances of the camp’s dining hall and theater, significantly improving access for campers with mobility challenges.

These enhancements are part of Victory Junction’s ongoing commitment to creating a barrier-free environment where children with complex medical and physical needs can experience the joy and freedom of camp. By improving physical access to key communal spaces, Victory Junction continues to ensure that all children, regardless of ability, can fully participate in its transformative programs.

“We’re always excited to make Camp easier to access and more welcoming for children,” said Chad Coltrane, President and CEO of Victory Junction. “On behalf of the campers and families we serve, we are deeply grateful to the Honda USA Foundation for their generous support.”

“The Honda USA Foundation envisions a world where every individual can experience the joy and freedom of mobility,” said Bobbie Trittschuh, Executive Director of the Honda USA Foundation. “We’re honored to support Victory Junction’s efforts to break down physical barriers and create a camp experience where every child, regardless of ability, feels welcome, empowered, and free to explore their potential.”
