Victory Junction Awarded $130,000 Lowe’s Hometowns Grant

RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Jun. 24, 2025) – Victory Junction, a year-round camp for children with complex medical and physical needs, has been selected as one of just 100 recipients nationwide to receive a 2025 Lowe’s Hometowns grant, earning $130,000 to install durable, non-slip flooring in camper cabin bathrooms and high-traffic program spaces.
The grant will allow Victory Junction to replace flooring in all 16 camper bathrooms along Cabin Row with a seamless, epoxy-based non-slip surface. Funding will also be used to upgrade the Camp’s Superdome (indoor sports arena) and Adam’s Race Shop (a race car–shaped activity hub) with non-slip epoxy flooring.
“These upgrades will reduce the risk of slips and falls and provide greater comfort and stability for every camper, volunteer, and staff member,” said Chad Coltrane, President and CEO of Victory Junction. “At Victory Junction, safety and accessibility are critical in building trust with our campers and families, and we’re incredibly grateful to Lowe’s Hometowns for their support.”
Now in its fourth year, Lowe’s Hometowns is a five-year, $100 million commitment to rebuild and revitalize community spaces nationwide. The program focuses on large-scale renovations that strengthen and sustain nonprofit facilities and public spaces that serve as the heart of local communities.
Victory Junction provides life-changing camp experiences at no cost to children living with complex medical conditions. These improvements, made possible through Lowe’s generosity, will directly impact the health, safety, and confidence of hundreds of campers each year.
