Since opening, Victory Junction has been a place that families and caregivers can trust to safely take care of their children – and that trust has always allowed caregivers the opportunity to breathe while their children are having fun at Camp.

Building upon the principles of trust and safety, Victory Junction recently launched Camp Recharge, a program designed to offer even more families and caregivers weekend opportunities to experience the impact of Camp.

Watch families share what it’s like to have the chance to recharge.

“For caregivers, there’s rarely any time for resting and recharge,” shared caregiver Larissa Mervin, mother of a Victory Junction camper. “Every single second of every single day is really accounted for and taken up.”

Victory Junction’s medical and program teams work closely with families to ensure campers are cared for in a way that allows both children and caregivers to feel comfortable and supported throughout the experience.

“My first impression of Victory Junction was, wow,” said Larissa. “The amount of attention that goes into every part of Camp was incredible.”

“There’s definitely a sense of security with Victory Junction when it comes to medical needs,” said Jamaal Mervin. “They ask very in-depth questions.”

Families say the impact of a weekend experience continues long after Camp ends.
“There is absolutely nothing to lose by sending your child to Victory Junction,” said Marci Bruno. “You know your child is going to come home happier, guaranteed.”

Junction will be expanding Camp Recharge this fall, with plans to offer additional weekend sessions September through December. To learn more about Camp Recharge, visit www.VictoryJunction.org/Recharge
