Take a Spin Around Richmond Raceway for a Cause

RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Jul. 15, 2025) – Victory Junction has partnered with Richmond Raceway Cares for this year’s Track Laps for Charity, set for Tuesday, Aug. 12, 5 to 7 p.m. For a $20 donation, participants can drive their personal vehicles five laps around Richmond Raceway’s legendary ¾-mile oval.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Victory Junction, a cost-free camp for children living with complex medical and physical needs, and Richmond Raceway Cares, the charitable arm of the Raceway.

Participation is limited to the first 200 registrations. Victory Junction campers and staff will be on-site volunteering and cheering on participants throughout the evening.

“For more than 20 years, Victory Junction has provided life-changing camp experiences to children living with complex medical and physical needs, always free of charge thanks to the generosity of donors and partners,” said Michael Cottingham, Chief Marketing Officer at Victory Junction. “If you’re looking for a fun way to empower kids while feeling your heart race, this year’s Track Laps for Charity is the place to be.”

To participate in Track Laps for Charity, fans must abide by the following rules and restrictions.

    • All drivers must be 18 years of age or older with a valid state-issued driver’s license.
    • Driver and passengers will both sign waivers as they are submitted to Track Personnel. Signatures must be witnessed by Track Personnel.
    • All participants must adhere to Virginia state laws regarding the usage of seat belts and child safety restraints.
    • Passenger vehicles only; motorcycles are not permitted.
    • Maximum speed is 55 miles per hour and regulated by Richmond Raceway personnel.
