Due to the special needs of our campers, we have a few requirements that our summer staff must meet. Volunteers must be 19 years of age or older. 18-year-old applicants are also eligible once a year has elapsed since high school graduation. For example, if you graduate in May 2019, you would be eligible to apply after May 2020.
Summer staff positions are residential and require a commitment for the entire summer (Mid-May through Mid-August). Victory Junction is a high energy working environment, so our staff must physically and mentally able to help campers while maintaining a positive outlook. Program Counselors will have additional training in their specific area.

Cabin Counselors spend each week empowering campers to do more than they ever imagined. They serve as the primary role model for six to eight campers on a weekly basis. Counselors will assist campers with activities of daily living, provide support and encouragement at program areas and ensure the health and safety of our campers.
