RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Sept. 16, 2025)Victory Junction has been awarded a $25,000 Quality of Life grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation to ensure that 10 children living with paralysis and other mobility challenges can attend summer camp in 2026.

Since 2004, Victory Junction has welcomed thousands of children living with complex medical and physical needs, always at no cost to families, thanks to the generosity of grants, donors, and community support. This generosity ensures every child, regardless of ability, can fully participate in the life-changing fun of Camp.

“We are deeply honored to be recognized by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation,” said Frances Beasley, Chief Development Officer of Victory Junction. “Thanks to this grant, ten children living with mobility challenges will enjoy fun and empowering adventures that will create a lifelong impact. On behalf of our campers and their families, we are profoundly grateful for this support.”

The grant is part of the Foundation’s 2025 Direct Effect 1st Cycle Quality of Life awards, which distributed more than $1.2 million to 61 nonprofit organizations nationwide.

“These grants represent more than funding—they represent freedom, possibility, and dignity for individuals living with paralysis,” said Dan McNeal, Director of the Quality of Life Grants Program at the Reeve Foundation. “At the heart of our mission is a commitment to improving everyday life for our community. We’re proud to support organizations across the country that are removing barriers and building programs rooted in equity, accessibility, and compassion.”
