LOCAL BUSINESSES SUPPORT VICTORY JUNCTION THROUGH RICHMOND HEARTS OF VICTORY EVENT

RANDLEMAN, NC—Victory Junction is setting its sights on raising enough money to send at least 100 children to camp through it’s “feel-good” event, Hearts of Victory, this month in Richmond, Virginia. The North Carolina camp provides life-changing experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering in a safe and medically-sound environment; always at no cost to camper families. With an average cost of $2,500 for a single camper to attend one week of camp at Victory Junction, that event fundraising goal is at least a total of $250,000!

A social hour, delicious dinner and an inspiring program, Hearts of Victory will feature a personal story from a Victory Junction camper, also a Richmond resident, about the significant impact Victory Junction has made in her life. A member of the Petty family will also share how their family turned a tragic loss into something that has greatly enhanced the lives of thousands of children over the years, and Victory Junction CEO will share the vision for the future. During the program guests will have an opportunity to consider a gift or pledge to financially support the mission.

A special thanks to Bennett Funeral Home, James River Equipment, Metlife and Swedish Match for committing their financial support to help cover event costs, so that money raised the night of Hearts of Victory will go directly to support Victory Junction’s mission.
