Campers are asked to bring their home medications to camp. Each child’s treatment plan and daily routine is followed as closely as possible to provide consistency for our campers. Prescriptions can be written if necessary.

Scheduled Medications

To ensure fun-filled days are not interrupted, scheduled medications are unnoticeably hand delivered and administered by our medical team in the cabins and in the Fuel Stop at mealtimes. We try to avoid camper time in the Body Shop, if possible, to minimize the medical part of camp and to maximize fun! If a camper has to spend time in our medical facility, the Body Shop is designed to look like our cabins so our campers don’t feel like they are missing out.

Pharmacy

All camper and staff medications are locked in the pharmacy. No medications are kept in the cabins for the safety of our campers. All narcotics and controlled substances are stored in a second, locked room in the back of the pharmacy. Any medication administration or procedure involving a needle is done in the Body Shop.
