Meet the outREACH Team

Addi Sherrill

Addi Sherrill

Assistant outREACH Director

Addi first started at Camp in Summer of 2018 working as a Boating & Fishing Program Counselor and from there, Camp felt like home. She has a degree in Recreation Therapy and Nonprofit Management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Addi was previously a part of the outREACH team as an outREACH Manager and after moving to MT with her husband for a couple of years, she is back at Camp and now serves as the Assistant Director of outREACH! Addi has experience working with all ages and abilities through her time at VJ as well as working at an Adaptive Therapeutic Recreation Nonprofit in Montana for a few years, where she was able to work alongside individuals of all ability levels to help provide adaptive recreation of all kinds! Addi is beyond grateful to be a part of the outREACH team as it is truly a dream come true.

Hannah Wells

Hannah Wells

outREACH Manager

Hannah’s journey with Victory Junction started at a young age as a camper. She graduated from Appalachian State University in 2023 with a degree in Child Development: Family and Child Studies and knew she wanted to work with families and be involved with Camp for many more years. Hannah’s years as a camper led her to be part of Camp in many more ways. She has served 3 summers on summer staff as a lifeguard and program area support manager, and she is now serving as outREACH Manager! Hannah’s favorite camp tradition is empowering campers at Stage Day. Hannah is excited to spread the Victory Junction magic through her visits to the hospitals!

Bailey Mokler

Bailey Mokler, LRT/CTRS

outREACH Manager

Bailey graduated from Western Carolina University in 2022 with a degree in Recreational Therapy. She loves Camp and has been a part of the Victory Junction family since 2021 as a program counselor, program area support manager, weekend support staff, and volunteer. She is now getting to bring the joy and magic of Camp into hospitals as a outREACH Manager! It’s hard for Bailey to choose just one favorite Camp tradition- she loves wish sticks and NASCARnival, and you can find her with campers in the middle of the fuel stop during dance parties. Bailey is so excited to serve campers and patients throughout the Carolinas and Virginia!

Liz Kiser

Liz Kiser

outREACH Manager

Liz volunteered back in 2016 for a Victory Junction family weekend and previously worked as a summer volunteer for five summers (2010-2015) at Camp Carefree, another local summer camp for kids with chronic illnesses. Since these experiences were tremendously impactful and life changing, it led her to pursue a degree in Special Education at Appalachian State University. She spent four years after college working alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Chez Genése. Chez Genése is a restaurant that has an integrated model and hires 50% of its staff with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Working with the disability community for over 14 years now in different capacities, it feels like a full circle to be back at Victory Junction on the full-time staff team in 2023! As a Camper Admissions Coordinator, I enjoy guiding our camper families through the camper application process and giving them the opportunity to come and experience the camp magic!
