RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Jan. 22, 2026) – Victory Junction is beginning the new year with newly appointed board leadership as Daniel C. “Danny” Agresta III, President and CEO of APC Towers and APC Telecom Services, assumes the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Anna Marie Smith, President of CAM Group Consulting, has been appointed Vice Chair of the organization.

Agresta and Smith assumed their new positions effective this month, in accordance with Victory Junction’s established board succession process. Agresta, who has served on the board since 2021, steps into the Chairman role following his service as Vice Chair in 2024 and 2025. Smith begins her term as Vice Chair after serving as Secretary in 2024 and 2025 and has been a member of the board since 2018.

“I am honored to step into the role of Chairman of the Board at Victory Junction,” said Agresta. “This organization holds a special place in my heart, and serving on the board over the past several years has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Victory Junction changes lives by showing children with serious medical conditions that anything is possible. I am grateful to Mark for his leadership and service as Chairman, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with him during this transition.”

Outgoing Chairman Mark Curran, who will continue to serve on the board, expressed his gratitude and confidence in the organization’s leadership moving forward.

“It has been an absolute privilege to serve as Chairman of Victory Junction for the past two years,” said Curran. “I am confident that Danny and Anna Marie will continue to build on the momentum we’ve created through funding and program development. As we move through our third decade of serving campers and families, I’m sure Adam Petty is smiling down on us, amazed at what has been accomplished in his name.”

Smith also shared her enthusiasm for the organization’s future leadership, and said, “I serve Victory Junction with pride, alongside fellow board members who share the same passion for supporting children and families. I am grateful for the opportunity to volunteer my service and to be a small part of something very, very special.”

As Victory Junction enters 2026, the organization is guided by strong leadership, a continued commitment to serving children living with complex medical and physical needs, and a diverse, dedicated board of community leaders. The full board of directors is listed below.
