Victory Junction enriches the lives of children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions by providing life-changing camp experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering, all in a medically-safe environment at no cost to the camper or their family.

As the Marketing Intern, you will assist the marketing and communications efforts of Victory Junction while adhering to our unique branding guide, voice, and mission.

● Work as part of a collaborative team under the supervision of the Director of Marketing & Communications and the Marketing Specialist
● Gain valuable career experience and advice from marketing, media, and creative design professionals

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Respond to and interact with social media content of Victory Junction affiliated channels
● Assist in the planning and adhering to content calendars for scheduling posts on different social media platforms
● Help plan social media campaigns to reach a wider audience to increase brand awareness
Assist with outreach and content for print, broadcast, and digital news media outlets
Help with the launch of our TikTok page and assist with content creation for this platform
Write, edit, and post content for the Victory Junction blog
Analyze social media trends on our content to help curate an updated social media plan
Identify ways to improve the organization’s marketing efforts through economical options
Conduct website analytics and assist with website improvement planning
Update the media contact list
Assist in planning and executing a first-year fundraising event
Other duties as required

● Internship candidates must be a student or recent graduate of a marketing, communications, or other relevant college degree program and must be recommended by a faculty member in their degree concentration.
Prospective interns must be current on all required vaccinations, including Covid-19. Any required vaccinations must be administered at least two weeks prior to beginning the internship.

This internship is an unpaid position. Students may receive academic credit from their college for successful completion of the internship.
