RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Jun. 18, 2025) – Lanie Buice made history this week as the first female driver to participate in Victory Junction’s NASCARnival pit stop challenge, a summer highlight at the year-round camp that provides life-changing, fun, and empowering experiences for children living with complex medical and physical needs.
Buice, 18, races full-time in the CARS Tour and part-time in the ARCA Menards Series with Rev Racing. She spent the evening connecting with campers during the celebration and said, “This place is amazing. What they do here for these kids is just incredible. I didn’t want the night to end.”
When asked what she enjoyed the most, Buice said, “Honestly, just speaking with the kids and spending time with all of them has been my favorite part. Their courage is contagious.”
Victory Junction, founded by Kyle Petty and family in honor of his late son Adam, provides year-round camp experiences at no cost to children living with complex medical and physical conditions. Programming is designed to build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.
