Victory Junction is a year-round camp facility that provides fully accessible on-site and off-site programming for children with complex medical conditions at no cost to their families. Victory Junction’s adaptive, intentional programming includes summer camp, family weekends, day programs, equine therapy, pediatric patient outreach, and partner programs. By removing all barriers, Victory Junction welcomes children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions to experience camp fun, all in a medically-safe environment. Victory Junction is a member of SeriousFun Children’s Network and is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Job Description

The Media Production Specialist works as part of the Victory Junction Marketing Team to produce content through a variety of media, including digital photography, video, website and social media, to tell the Victory Junction story.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Shoot and edit photos of Victory Junction summer camp, family weekend sessions, events, and other marketing projects
Shoot and edit video for marketing projects
Help create written content and imagery for Victory Junction’s social media channels
Assist with management of Victory Junction’s digital media assets
Assist with management of the Marketing Team’s media production studio
Assist with content creation and updates to the Victory Junction website
Occasionally work long hours and/or weekends when required to meet project deadlines

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree, or equivalent experience in photography, media production, or related field
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with digital photography
Working knowledge of videography and video editing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Adobe CC applications, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, and After Effects
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with Wordpress is helpful, but not required
