JACKSON HEWITT TAX SERVICE AND VICTORY JUNCTION GANG CAMP PLAN FOR “MANY HAPPY RETURNS”

RANDLEMAN, N.C., Jackson Hewitt Tax Service® and Jiffy Tax Service announced today that select 58 offices located throughout the Piedmont Triad will donate $1 for every tax return filed during the current tax season—January through April 2008—to Victory Junction Gang Camp.

The campaign, entitled “Many Happy Returns” is designed to raise funds to benefit the camp, founded in 2004 by Pattie and Kyle Petty in honor of their late son, Adam. The mission of the Camp is to enrich the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering in a safe and medically-sound environment.

“We are delighted that Jackson Hewitt has embraced our cause and in this generous and creative way is actively supporting Victory Junction Gang Camp. The Jackson Hewitt “Many Happy Returns” campaign will not only raise needed funds for the camp, but it will also help build awareness among their clients about the Camp and our mission,” said Pattie Petty, CEO of the Camp.

“Many Happy Returns” kicked off during a special event on January 19 from 1 to 5 pm. at the Jackson Hewitt office located in the Palladium Shopping Center, 5815 Samet Dr., Suite 105, High Point, N.C.

Victory Junction Gang Camp is a year-round facility serving children age seven to 15, who might otherwise not have the opportunity to experience camp activities. Victory Junction is an independent not-for-profit organization and is a member of the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps.
